Something new to add to my list

You know how some women keep these wish lists of things they would like to have in their dream house? Well, I'm definitely one of those women. Of course, that list has suffered a few changes here and there throughout the years, but three things have always remained constant: a tree canopy bed, floor-to-ceiling bookshelves with rolling ladders, and glass walls, lots of them!
Now though, I have a new addition to this list. Because this is way too cool to not put it inside this list. Take a look...

A staircase with a built-in slide! Isn't this super fun? The spiral staircase is my favorite I think. It promises big doses of laughs and smiles. I really am going to put to practice the Law of Attraction and set my mind to have this in my future home. Oh the joy...

What happened to my Wayfarers?

New reader picture :)

A big thank you to Jessica for sending over this awesome pic of her reading The Ylem!! Cool isn't it?
Remember, if you have the paperback, please take a pic of yourself and send it to me at my email. I'm planning on doing something really fun with them :)

Sometimes big publishers are up to no good...

...and both pictures down below prove my point.

The one on the left is the original work of a wonderful cover designer named Nathalia Suellen, who did the SPIDERWICK cover for indie author L.K.Rigel. The one on the right is the shady version of Harper Collin's BEWITCHING by Alex Flinn. Incredible, isn't it? It's just outrageous! The worst part is HP wrote to LK asking to use the cover, she said no and they still did it anyway!
But there is always a yin yang to everything and I'm sure some light will come out of this. Both author and designer will benefit from the publicity :)

Harper Collins though, shame on you!
