I know several of you are wondering this same thing, so I want you to please read the following reply I gave a reader today.
CCG, I can't blame you for
feeling how you feel and thinking what you think. I would feel the same.
Unfortunately, my reasons are always the same. Work has overloaded my
life with craziness, and with several trips I made overseas, it's taken
me longer than I thought to finish this book. I would love to say I live
out of my books, but I can barely buy a ticket to the movies with what I
make each month. I need to pay my car and life insurance, and many
other things, which is why work is my main priority right now. But that
doesn't mean Alluvion will never see the day of light. Even if you won't
believe me, Alluvion is just a few chapters away from the end, but like
I said in another post, it's going at a snail's pace. And, remember
English is not my native tongue, so it takes me three or four times more
than a regular person to write (even writing this I have to think
twice. Lol). But Alluvion WILL come out. I just can't promise you when.
Of
course, I'm not trying to convince you or pull yo in again. You already
took your decision and I fully support it. But, please, allow me to say
how grateful I feel for you giving my book and trilogy a chance. I
won't forget it.
I wish you the best and keep on reading and fueling your dreams!

Dear readers, I hope you understand this. If not, like I told CCG, I can't blame you. I just hope you don't give up on me :)
Best,
Tatiana
Thank you for that explanation Tatiana. I will still wait for Alluvion for however long it will takes for you to finish writing the book. I loved the first book and I am looking forward to reading the second book.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Daisy. I really appreciate the support :)
DeleteI promise you a thrilling ride with Alluvion!
I really can't wait to read Alluvion (I keep re-reading The Ylem so I don't forget!) but I can wait for you to finish it. I expect the best ;)and I know I'll get it however long it takes.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you liked THE YLEM so much! Alluvion will be even better ;)
DeleteA lot of information is disclosed, including what the Ylem is!
Thanks for the support :)

ReplyDeleteTatiana, I am sincerely sorry for my immature words and poor execution of how I felt. I have not given up on the Ylem Trilogy, I simply grew frustrated with the lack of updates and commentary and in an ignorant, blatant, and impulsive manner, took them out on you. Don't let a pillock like me get you down or stop you from what you do best:even if it may take sometime. I am filled with remorse at my arrogance and send my deepest apologies and regrets.
ReplyDelete-CCG
Please don't be sorry CCG. I completely empathize with you and understand why you felt the way you felt. I would feel the same. So, again, don't apologize for expressing your feelings. Actually, it helped me to realize I wasn't making any updates and comments, so thank you for that :)
DeleteI'm really glad you haven't give up on the trilogy, though! I really hope Alluvion meets your expectations. I truly love this book. It's an eye-opener, but I won't tell more. My lips are sealed! Lol.
Tatiana,
ReplyDeleteI must tell you that I loved the Ylem book 1 but I must also tell you that I am anxiously awaiting the second book of the series. Usually I wait until an entire series is complete before reading it because I am one who likes to read it from beginning to end without interruption, I took a chance with ylem book 1 and now the suspence is killing me! Please know that you have fans that love your characters and your story and we are awaiting another glimpse into their lives!
THANK YOU for your words, Priscilla :)
DeleteI'm still writing it. In the process I have taken out two entire chapters and I'm re-writing. It's a bit complicated but I hope it'll be worth it at the end!
Hello Ms. Vila, I don't mean to bother you but are there any updates on the book? The Ylem or Break Away Series? Anything would be much appreciated! Thank You!
ReplyDeleteHello Tatiana,
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays!!!! I am just wondering if there is any updates on Alluvion? Looking forward to reading your coming books. Keep on writing.. ;-)
